How to deal with tough times

Updated: Sep 12

Tough times are not new and they are not specific to you. If you look at old photos of ancestors, you will appreciate that every one of them survived tough times: World Wars, Vietnam, the Great Depression. And, not long ago we survived Covid, a recession, etc. And this is global.

Also, it is hard when we are facing tough personal times to feel alone and as though we are worse off than others: "sure others are in pain too but MY PAIN REALLY HURTS." All pain hurts and you are not alone. So what can be done. First, reframe. This is not just you, it is global and it will pass. Second, take inventory. What can you control and what can you not control. Can you look at other ways to earn money, reduce costs, focus on other issues such as health, fitness, relationships, maybe quit an addiction, gain new skills, learn a language, pick up a hobby, look for ways to serve others. Then create your plan and execute. This is all key to my program. Check out my free guides at www.thegethappinessplan.com.
