After many years as a software executive, raising a family and doing many big things, I had come to a point where I knew I had to make some changes. I was uninspired and just getting through my day. The financial trade off was no longer worth the cost of the job. Further, I knew that I had to eliminate alcohol from my life. As I battled that demon, others showed up. Something I learned is that once alcohol is gone, you uncover things it has been hiding. In my case, depression. I found myself in a dark dark place. I was without motivation, energy or purpose. Like with alcohol, I knew that my life depended on me overcoming this new demon. So I started studying and learning about happiness. It was step by small step but as I applied what I was learning I began to see the light. Among my purposes is to help others apply what I learned to identify and fulfill their purposeful happy lives. I wake up each morning excited by what I will do that day. I hope you are ready to take your journey to purpose and happiness.

The Get Happiness Plan is a program the result of my own research and life process. Over the course of the past year, despite much success and many opportunities for contentment, I found myself wanting something more; happiness. I started reading and researching the large volume of commentary on the subject. And two things became clear: one, it is not complicated, and two, it is achievable by anyone who is willing to pursue it.
